The last bits of history from Long Vei are finally trickling in and the last of our warriors come home to their eternal rest on Marry Anna Custis Lee’s front lawn. Seems the US Govt. in their hatred of the south during the War of Northern aggression, converted Miz Custis’ family estate of Arlington House into the ANC without so much as any reparations after the war. Knowing how depressing it would be to look out at all those tombstones in your front yard anyway. I don’t hardly blame Bob and Mary for settling further south.
