PHOENIX VAMC RECORDS SHOW 243 DEATHS ATTRIBUTABLE TO DELAY

CaptureRuh-oh, Rorge. Somebody can’t count, won’t count or is being paid not to count dead Vets. Couldn’t be Griffin. Gibson? Somebody knows where the bones are buried and ain’t talkin’. I love these stories. They change so fast you need a good freeze-frame camera or a table of contents to follow the faery tale.

One Response to PHOENIX VAMC RECORDS SHOW 243 DEATHS ATTRIBUTABLE TO DELAY

  1. We need to do the math here…you know, “VA math”. According to USA Today (July 4, 2014), 38 VAMC’s received 2.7 million “extra pay” in 2013. If Phoenix is an “average” VAMC, then 1/38th of the bonuses went there, or about $71052 (average) per VAMC. If you divide this $71,052, by 243 dead Veterans, this means each dead Vet is worth $292.39 to the VA executives. Now we know how much the VA thinks we are worth…$292.39, plus, of course, the health care and compensation benefits that the VA saves because benefits are not paid to dead Vets.
