We had a riot of sorts at the Airman’s club in June of 1970 at Udorn. A minor disagreement turned into a major black and white race riot. There was a lot of that among the older and “southern” guys. Most of the guys who got stoned did it with black and white guys. We were the only ones who considered ourselves “enlightened” and above the fray. How you can use it to help with a claim seems unclear. You need the actual buddy that saw it to testify unless its in your contemporary medrecs. Good luck. Winning an HCV claim is getting easier if you read up on what we have here.

Does anyone remember racial problems and fights from 1964-1969, I was in the airforce stationed at K I Sawyer AFB, Michigan from 1966-1967 and 4252 Bomb Wing (SAC) on Okinawa. The RO is acting like nothing like this happened. It was a turning point in history, it was becoming common to hear ” I don’t care what color he is, he saved my ass”. I was 19 back then got hurt a few times. there was nothing written down, but through the years my back injury grew worse each year. So along with my hep-c claim, I have back injuries. If anyone remembers anything please let me know.
