OraQuick® HCV Rapid Antibody Test

This should be in every doctor’s office.  It was used in Exeter, NH during the recent HCV outbreak.  It’s FDA approved to detect HCV in fingerstick blood or whole blood with results in 20 minutes.

    Thank you for posting this message. It is hopeful that others can catch the disease much sooner than we did. I’m think of changing my birthday to the closest date of infection way back in the 70’s.

      Randy, I’d like to see the rapid test offered at public health fairs held locally or at state fairs etc..
      The state department’s of health need to get off their backsides and get to work on this.
