Humorous? Yes, but I’m still dying to know your feelings on this seminal topic. As usual, no cookies, no tracking devices or salesmen knocking on your door. No VAOIG surveillance.  Chicago style, stuff the ballot box with dead Veteran’s votes permitted. In short-cheating permitted. vA does it. Why not? Comments welcome.

I answered all of the questions since the poll is for the most part an oxy-moron. Contractors could do the job, that is about the only way it will happen. But it is impossible to get a project plan of that scope out to bid by 2015. Two years out to contract bid? Some how I don’t think so! And when they do go out for bid, it will most likely go to the indians where most of the VA IT projects go now. And the indians then will sub it out to the Chinese and the Chinese will sub it out to the North Koreans. And then 10 years and 5 billion dollars later, viola! We have a system that is too obsolete to even implement to begin with.

  3. WILL the VA succeed with paperless claims? NO. COULD the VA implement paperless claims?Yes, but they wont hire contractors who could DO the job, because they are not politically well connected. Since the VA wont do what it takes to get the job done, the answer is NO.
