Ah yes, traitor Jane. A little before my time (Gulf War), but I understand she did some pretty obnoxious stuff. I’ve seen probably only one in ten celebrities who spoke out politically that were skilled enough to be doing that. What is much more common is them confusing their fame for intelligence. I really think, as a rule, that celebrities should shut their mouth about most political affairs and stick to what they do best–acting.
Boy, talk about acting out. I suspect she regrets a lot of the things she’s said and done in the past (as we all do). One doesn’t need a be a wealthy famous movie star to fall into the pits of arrogance and pride. But isn’t it maddening to see these people get so much media attention–the very thing they crave? It’s just not in her upbringing or nature to be humble.
