VNN ON VETERANS

Shawn sends us this Veterans News Now article. I should put them on twitter. This is a great article but I don’t buy all the statistics. I see 27 million Vets according to all that’s available. No shocking statistics on the incredible shrinking Vietnam cohort- down from 2.3 million on May 7th, 1975 to 867,000 (approx.) in 2012. Time for Peter, Paul and Mary to come out with a “Where have all the V-Vets gone?” Unfortunately for them, they may have to write “Where have P,P&M gone?”

The vA also grossly underestimates homeless disabled veterans. I could show you two separate reports for my being homeless and disabled from last year. The vA treats homeless Veterans as a claim for benefits. I can show you how my VASH-HUD vouchers to live on were DENIED! Suicides are encouraged by the vA social workers because they treat homeless disabled Veterans like welfare cheats looking for a handout and “faking” their disabilities. I say that because I don’t think I have been treated any differently than the others. I have all of the paperwork to prove it too!
