This one will give you goose bumps – beautiful!
Picture taken at the National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN on a June morning – as it appeared in the Minneapolis Star/Tribune.
Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words! It says everything .
This could become an official Memorial Day, 4th of July and/or Veterans Day remembrance photo;
“Our symbol standing guard”
I can’t quite begin to tell how much this moved me when I viewed it. I would like to thank eagle-eyed member Cal for seeing this this AM and sending it in.

That’s excellent. Thanks for putting it up!
Quite a moving sight. I cannot help but think of all of those who would have become fathers and grandfathers but were denied the opportunity. Vietnam was a convoluted engagement to be sure but it is the people who took the oath and served that impress me. I entered military service in 1974 and never went to South East Asia but I did enlist and served my tour (unfortunately all 4 years were in TX) so I feel pride in the Vets who came before and paid the ultimate price.
