Assuming this Vet was of sound mind, why did the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services let him off the Reservation without proper supervision? I assume the SO was with him and assisted in the preparation of this claim. That being said, why would anyone claim SC for willful misconduct? If you are shot in the course of a bank robbery you instigated, you can’t sue the Police for it. And you wonder why it takes sooooo long to get a docket in DC. There oughta be a law, but everyone is entitled to his day in court. This is still America, for better or worse. Never forget that. Never regret that.
